is it me, or does the car seem to be putting a lot of effort trying to go around those cones.
if i had 35gs i wuld buy it… no doubt about it…
to import a GTR R34 is 65-100gs …
k edit… gtr depending mods and condition
oh. my. god. that r34 is so f**kin sexy…reminds me of the r34 i saw a while back when i was in trinidad…got some pics with it too:D ill try to post em
I love this car, if i was loaded i’d make it my drift machine! R34’s are so sexy I love the engine setup too… sweet deal…
no, to import a GT-R it’s 65,000 to import a GTT is a lot less, this price isnt necessarily a good price the nice thing is that its already here.
I also recall seeing that R34 in pics on that thread about the pro drift demo a while back… and i also remember it said Marco was driving it…
hahahahaah!!!
$35000 for gtt!!! do yourselves all a favour and check out the Aussie/Kewi Forums and see how much a modified r34 GTT goes for. Not NEARLY $35000!
and it doesnt cost more much more to ship a car from AUS then it does to ship from japan.
People are so jaded in this country.
GT25 R34 $15000NZD

R33 GTST $15900AUS

I would find more examples of $8000 s15’s and $5000 s14’s but i’m to lazy.
I laugh everytime someone says you can’t buy a decent r32 gtr for $10000
well, if those cars were ever sold here, then they would be a lot cheaper and readily available… just like in Australia and New Zealand… but considering that there are handful of R34’s around (if that), then he can easily ask twice as much for that car and probably get away with it.
supply vs. demand y0.
if you read, i said, it’s NOT much more to import a car from AUS than Japan.
it’s not supply vs demand. People are retarded and pay importers to bring cars in for them because they are lazy. Hence the $18000 price tag on fd rx7’s that were purchased for $4500 in japan. Or why anyone would pay $15000 for an r32 gtr when they can be had for under 10000$, or 35000$ for a track only r34gtt; when they cost 1/2 of that imported.
A car costs MAXIMUM $3000 to ship from japan to ontario.
Some people like it, and some people don’t. To each his/her own. I have adopted a 1650kg, 15 year old, Japanese kid (BNR32 aka 1991 Skyline GTR) But it was worth it since I finally have my dream car. I wonder how the guy imported the R34 into canada. I guess he probably claimed it as a parts car since its not legal here what-so-ever. There are some loop holes in the system, but some people are fuckin’ it up for the rest of us who LEGALLY had their cars imported.
The ministry is really cracking down, so much as to brainwashing their License & Registration clerks to tell people the cars aren’t legal here just so they can scare people from importing. Its because the clerks don’t want to deal with the paper work, and having to lift their lazy finger to press the speed dial button, go through the automated B.S, and having to speaking to a representative on the other end of the line; who will say some smart ass remark just so the clerk standing infront of you will smerk and tell me the car shouldn’t be here, and you, bitting your lip just so you don’t say something you’ll regret later…
All of this, just to get a code which bypasses the 17 digit VIN since skylines only have 11! And then, they tell you to come back to speak to the manager!!! IDIOTS I TELL YA!!! SIGH Thats my rant…I feel better now.
R33/r34’s s15’s etc can all be legally imported if A you own a shop as a show/demo car, B you are from japan, or the cars country of origin and are moving back here. These cars are legal for 1 year. Then must be taken off the road and sold or exported. Making it a 35000 track car.
Say sahsa was to try to import a r34, he can because he has the race credentials, the car would be legal for track duty and he would not be hassled trying to pass the car through customs.
As for the code to bypass the 17 digit vin, whats this all about? it’s been over 2 years since i did it, and when i did it, i just handed them my form 1 and and translated ownership.
the only trouble i had was finding insurance, which really isnt that hard.
Preach on brotha LUCKY preach on
You wanna know what the hell is up with the 17 digit VIN bypass? Well shit…so do I. I live in Niagara, the representatives that I have dealt with, have no clue wtf to do. I’ve been bounced around from place to place and I just about had enough. I think maybe I should head to the GTA and get it done there. From what I hear, they know what they are doing.
