The 240sxR turned an amazing lap of 1:30.59 in the ontario Time-Attack series to win MOD3 on Saturday

What was sashas Time with the 240 and the 350z?

Sashas is faster. I was running on the gate 300 rwh.

I believe his s-14 was a 1:28.xxx
the 350z 1:26.9xx

Until Sasha and I switch cars, everyone can speculate who is faster.

By the way Sasha tunes my car. (he is faster too)

also are you using z brakes or the brembo gt kit? i know people have done almost 2 seconds better switching to the brembo kit

My brakes are actually stock s-13 with blue pads.
The turbo is a GTX2863R Garrett

My wheels are 15x10 so the biggest brakes I can fit under are the 300zx, which I am installing now

wow that’s good man to pull a time like that with stock 1 piston brakes i salute you :slight_smile: you could most likely pull a 125 to 127 with 17 inch rpf1s and the brembo gran turismo 4 piston kit. :slight_smile:

I don’t think you quite understand what it would take to get into the 125’s… 128’s for that matter even. No amount of brakes or wheels are going to magically increase scott’s time by 5 seconds, maybe a few tenths of a second on average.

holy shit man what the hell is in that red 944 s turbo? he just catches up like it’s nothing, how much whp are you running? it seems like it’s very hard to catch up to some of these cars but you get them good on the turns

i saw this the moment he uploaded them. Very cool… but definetely under powered, but fun to take on corners.

I knew the KA-t would not last in track conditions :-/ I would have gone for an L33 v8… and instead of SR then L33 turbo :slight_smile: That 944 would be no problem hehe

My SR is stock 1998 Kouki s-14. AEM tru-boost was set for 10psi. boost guage moved between 8/9psi. my FMIC is piped in.

The KA failures where basically the stuidist of bad luck. There was a casting failure in a cyl head, then a piston failure on a used KA,(we later discovered the WG actuator was damaged when the cyl head on the first failed). Then I bought used KA parts which where machined and ready for boost and the crank broke.
There was never a tuning issue, the failures where all mechanical. I just couldn’t get anoughter KA done in time so I went with a SR

so you must be at only around 230 - 260whp max im guessing in the vid, i know a good sr setup with a bottom mount turbo should be able to over take those cars with ease, just want to make sure cause im heading into the same thing with my s14 and s14 sr setup and i want it to be much faster then that without going top mount.

you are mistaking my HP, the motor is Stock. Stock minifold (with factory heat shields), stock elbow. Magan and bings from there back. Stock flywheel with exedy clutch. Stock turbo. Bings FMIC
