While listening to Buzzsaw on Sirius, Autograph’s “Turn Up the Radio” came on and I noticed they rhyme “radio” with “more”:

Turn up the radio
I need the music, gimmie some more

And this is back in 1984. Isn’t this before it was common to hear things like “rollin’ in my six fo”, “fo sho”, etc.?

Just thought I’d share this. Holy crap - I’m turning into 1SloShelby with these kinds of posts. :doh: :smiley:

I really don’t think it was meant to rhyme… Like I don’t think they say id like “Gimme some mo” to rhyme with “radio.”

The worst one I’ve heard so far is the new T-Pain (?) song where he rhymes “mansion” with “Wisconsin.”
Unbelievable.
