This sirens are ONLY used in other states for a good reason ( Tornado Watches and Warning ). But how many Tornados do you see in WNY? I mean c’mon this is getting ridiculous and it starting to really piss me off.
My buddy/ neighbor who just got back from Irak told me the 1st time he heard the siren going off he jumped right off the bed thinking his base was under attack…lol

i think that volunteer firemen are equally as annoying. i understand that they are a important, and i will be grateful for them when they are putting out the fire in my house, but god. Every V.F. i have ever met is just the biggest fucking loser who had no friends so he joined the V.F.A.
The junior firefighters are even bigger tools, especially when they think it is cool. It’s NOT COOL. IT’s STUPID AND YOU ARE ALL LOSERS. UGH.
HAHAHA. Newman, you’re right. There were these 2 kids in my school who thought they were so cool, they used to wear their “gear” to school. And the one guy’s sister was a junior firefighter, too and for her senior picture, she had her gear on! BAHAHAHAHA>
They smelled bad. And just hung out at the firehall all night.
Maybe you guys are the assholes. Yeah… volunteering is for assholes… and only losers do it.
Well ya know what? You guys probably think they are losers cause your too cool to volunteer a very small part of your life towards something great. Your too busy being cool… and wearing trendy clothes… and buying a nice outfit for the senior pics… and thats what your proud of.
All of the volunteers I know, especially in fire companies… are extremely proud of what they do. Thats why they wear their jackets… (hopefully not their gear) to school, or work, or shopping. Maybe someone in school will inquire about volunteering… what better way than to ask someone who is already doing it… a PEER you feel comfortable talking to. Get involved in the community, do something constructive with your life… you don’t have to get paid for everything… there are somethings that are not a “right” … like being rescued when your shit is on fire, or you fell down the stairs… or your having a hearet attack. Yeah… fuck the volunteers… fuck the people who do great things, don’t get paid… and then get harassed for wearing their jacket… or blasting a siren in an emergency.
Why don’t you guys take a field trip to a volunteer fire company… talk to the volunteers… find out what its like… until then, FUCK YOU for not giving a FUCK. :shoot:

That is the most un-intelligent post I have ever seen. I know a few volunteer firefighters. My girlfriends Father has been one for years. He is the EMS Captain now. People volunteer because it feels good to help people in need. My GF’s brother is now a “Explorer” with a couple of his friends. For those of you not in the know… basically they are Volenteer Firefighters in training.
