Was just in the Elmwood store - I bought an alternator at the NFB location (the only place that had one in stock), and I asked specifically if I could return the core to the other store, and the guy said no problem. So I get to the Elmwood store, and the manager tells me he can’t take a core from another store. I ask him why not, and he said, “Why should I loose money off my sales from this?” Which is when I said, “Why should I care?” He even went so far as to compare what I was doing to buying a craftsman product at Kmart and returning it to Sears. WTF? Is this guy retarded? And he’s the manager.
