smokey is right… hell even don is right, I would bet my money on KX65. Either way, thats not the issue, if you like the quad, good for you, I wouldn’t buy it. You definatly should have bought my YFZ for cheaper than you paid for the 250 and im talking excluding tax!
PM me about the quad, ill let u know, if the dude is serious and has cash, ill let it go for like $200 cheaper than I wanted for it.

Like you said man, if i like it then good…Its my first quad, Im learning…I dont think it would be smart to learn on somethin sick like a built YFZ…
why the hell not? you just need to know your limits. no use in buying something that youre going to learn your way out of.

sorry man, 15yrs too late for that, im on a 450 bike now. but youll learn on your first encounter with one.
im not tryin to diss your quad, im just tryin to give you the reality of it. noone said you had to go out and get a fully-built 450 but you couldve put your money towards a new or used 400ex and that is tame enough to learn on but still powerful enough to have fun on. that wouldve been my reccomendation.
Here are some #'s to put things into perspective
Raptor 250 SE 18HP; 311lbs…17.27lbs/HP
YZ 80 23HP; 146lbs…6.3lbs/hp
KX65 14HP; 125lbs…8.9lbs/hp
So you can get a mental picture of what would happen if the three would race…that raptor would be wayyyyyy behind.

wow looks like i missed a good thread … shouldof got ahold of me i have a few quads here in the works that will put that same lap times down as the 450 bikes
… you should always get something to “grow” into rather than spending money on something that you’ll be bored with soon
