alright just finished my swap and started it and no charging. now when the engine was removed from the original car no care was taken… so it could be anything. i swapped alternator’s with a known working rb26… and still nothing. anyhelP?
check charging fuses. check harness connestor, check for power at the field. check to battery power to alt. check brushes. check if field wire is grounding. check grounds…etc
did all that. thats why i came to son but i figured it out… ended up being a shit battery… car didnt want to charge it- threw a new one in there and its great. only have one last problem … car wont turn off when i take the key off. the ECU must have a wiring problem because it wont tell it to turn off.
