Does anyone have some resource sites with intructions and pictures of doing a rebuild. Looking for more info on forged internals, gaskets, headstuds etc on the rb25det. Step by step. I found a few really good ones, but it was just going over pumps, manifolds and turbo.
just like any other motor rebuild man…take it apart…get new parts…check clearneces and put it back together! read the FSM it has lots of info…but if you are a noob i would not recommend doing this!
Yah thanks, im mainly looking for torque numbers, but im sure ill find an FSM on the site anyways. No real need to bring it to a shop unless im getting sleeving done or something involving equipement as big as my car. haha thanks for info.
just keep stock intake mani unless your going over 600-700hp. Everytime I talk to people in Japan or Ausi they say there engine drps torque big time for changing to a greddy. Just a lil tid bit. Dont bother changing something that already works good. B25’s are usually pretty good. If I was you and if you have your RB25 Id just do metal gasket and stud kit and you should be fine. Slap some cams in there if you want or if you are a true balla try to source out a NEO engine. They have plenty of power factory.
