RB25DET swap vs. RN26DET(T) swap

I have been looking at swaps for some time now, and I know that both the rb25 and rb26 swaps require extensive work, including custom mounts and driveshafts. Im also aware that the engine set up itself is more on for the rb26, and that the rb26 is a stronger engine.

However, I’d like to know the extra work that is required to do an rb26 instead of an rb25, besides doing a single turbo conversion. Sorry if this has been coverd before, and if it has, then a link would be helpful. Thanks.

And yes I meant rb26det(t) in the title.

i would think that the amount of work is very very close for each swap

the only major factor is that if you do rb26 it will cost significantly more because you will need:
-new oil pan from rb25
-rb25det rwd tranny
plus the rb26dett engine costs significantly more than the rb25det

IMO, unless you plan on going well over 400rwhp i wouldn’t spend the extra money on the rb26
