RC Car/Truck thread

It will prob still run but prob not as good as fresh fuel would.

Also we have another crawling comp Feb 1st we will have a few donor trucks at an additional $5 charge if anyone is interested. Its indoor at Glenwood Hobby, if anyone is interested let me know.

does ur trucks rev alt higher in the coldweather??

BUMP, just replaced my spur gear in my savage!

I need to replace my pull starter in my RC10GT and get it back up and running. What I really need to do is sell it and then grab a 8th scale buggy

I move all my stuff around once in a while.

I got out of RC cars when I got into planes, then got out of planes when I got into helis. Then got out of it entirely because the heli was too much of a PITA to keep running because the slightly rough landing always broke something. I think I need to take one step back and get another plane.

i have an AWD HPI nitro touring car…RS4-2 or something like that? it has tons of upgrades, BA as shit…i ahvent touched it in like…10 years but its awesome

I have one of those, but its more like a little off-road truck, still based on the RS4, I think I’ll bring it out today  Its my beater.

mine is def not for off road its about 1mm off the ground

I cant wait to test drive… my friend bought a e revo brushless ,put 11.1 battery in it and it is estimated to do close to 70 mph… there is youtube videos of these trucks doing back flips from how much tourqe they have

My most recent project. Gaining some ground. I like the vintage stuff that I grew up with.

You’d beat me, mine is super old, .15 engine, 1speed tranny unless its fucked up and I don’t know lol, and besides that I need 2 dogbones, it is only RWD right now, and the tires are kinda shot… wow i have alot of excuses, i bought it used, i just plan to drive it in the snow beat the shit out of it lol I would deffinitely run it against you though, Idk where, a parking lot would work.

EDIT: If anyone has any HPI RS4 MT(mt= monster truck) parts, let me know, roller, broken, working, if you want to sell it let me know

I have some sort of HPI 4wd truck thing…
I should probably clean it up and get it running.

Maybe I can get cheap engines from a friend…
He’s actually sponsored by some buggy maker.

I think I might still have an old LOSI stadium truck chassis somewhere…I should bust that out. The motor and gears all worked last time I ran it. Probably would need all new electronics though.

I have a electric LOSI stadium truck that is probably over 15 years old, still is complete and works. It would be cool if there was a place around to bust them out. I would buy anything if there was a cool place to race/play around near Buffalo.

They race them in the southtowns.
Glenwood RC or something.

FYI: I think kids today are spoiled. I remember barely finishing 4 minute races with my batteries.
Now they have 20 minute races w/o swapping packs.
