I’d love to see a shop open up with a track inside or a shop with a gym in the back. Allows you to test things out… gives you a place you can go and race/fly indoors and also if you break something, they have the part to fix it so that you arent ending your night right then. Personally that would be a killer hobby shop to me. Just need the support.
I sold my SC10 because Glenwood Rc closed down at the shop on 16 in Elma. I heard that there is a new one opening somewhere local though. The guy I sold my SC10 to was telling me about it.
There is… R&L hobbies/raceway North Tonawanda. Jerry has demo stuff and plenty of room to fly.

You could also take it to fields and have them send it back toTraxxas and get a new one for free. I just got a new 1/10 vxl system 2 days ago. I have a stock pile of blown esc’s that i return every few months and get a new one lol. Sometimes it takes a few weeks though…
Can I contact traxxas and see about sending it to them then and see what they say? How did yours go and how long did you have them before you sent them back? What did they request from you?
Idk i go through fields and they take care of me. I give them a blown esc, they mail it out and call me when my brand new one shows up. I have nothing but good things to say about fields and I’ll get anywhere from 5-50% off everything i buy.
i bought a 4 port charger(was about $40 if i remember) at fields that has 4 seperate ports, but will only charge the msrx type batteries
i actually got the batteries at fields also, they are higher mah, and i think were $11 for two, cant remember the name offhand though
Jay go to hobbyking.com and look at batteries, they’ll be half the price.
You can get a special connecter for almost any charger that let’s you charge multiple batteries off one lead. Think they’re $6 at fields…
we tried one of those circuit boards with 4 leads on it, didn’t seem to work well at all, maybe we got a bad one but it was purchased at fields
It’s a series connecter that will charge off the balance lead. Now that i think about it you guys probably don’t have a balance lead on those small heli batteries.
I know you can definitely charge multiple MSR x batteries with one of those leads because I’ve seen lots of people talking about in threads when I was looking for what charger to get.
you can, the problem without having a balance lead is that say you have 4 batteries on there, when the first one is done charging, your charger will think they are all charged, so you end up with one charged battery, and 3 with less than a full charge, not very good imo
I’d personally go with the one skurge was saying. Great charger for a decent price. Think it was something like thundercat or something with cat in it. its a black charger fairly flat
What packs come with it, 3.7? Can that heli run on a 2s? What is the part number for the stock battery?
they come with 1s 3.7 v 150mah 25C
not sure on a 2s, never tried anything more than 1s
Jay wants something for bigger batteries Also, probably for a bigger heli in the future. He can get one for both in that price range.
Thanks, just wanted to see what i could find that was comparable.
I think they are running a 1s 3.7v 200 mah and was something like a 25-40 or just 40c. I know they are nice and put a good punch in the heli.
Alright Jay after a little research this battery is the best bang for the buck literally ($1.46ea) lol… Nano tech 160mah 25-40c.

Nice thanks.
Here’s the micro paraboard… You could charge 6 160mah batteries at 1amp, and you should plug them in and let them sit for 5-10 min so the batteries can equal out before charging. If the batteries are all the same this should work fine.
This charger looks ptetty good for $30 and it can charge @6amps. but it’s on back order…
Whats the best place for cheapest tires for the Rustler? Again, something way over price in stores. I paid $23 for 4 tires that were the exact same as the hobby shop, which would have cost me $20 before tax for only 2 of them. (those were the slash tires)
