Ready to upgrade

Yeah. I have a couple buddies one with a Busa and the other with a 14R, everyone makes the Busa out to be this terrifying monster, I found it to be very comfy and far more forgiving than my SV. The 14 was definitely a nice machine but it felt alot bulkier than the Busa. I’d love to take the famed S1000RR out for a short cruise

Z1000 or CB1000R if you like naked sport bikes… I personally ride a 600RR and its pretty gutless, but going 1 down in the front sprocket transformed the bike entirely, now it always feels like its in the powerband. I personally love how small, compact, lightweight and nimble the 600RR is but since the size of the literbikes has came down to almost supersport size with these new bikes coming out so I might consider going to a 1000RR also…

Again I would adore an RSV4

only real downside to an RSV4 is the price

Yeah its definitely far from a cheap bike. But last night a friend of mine handed me the opportunity to buy his 04 Busa. Havent talked about a price yet and other than needing tires its in excellent shape

And it’s new owner is loving every minute on the bike.

I went from a CBR600RR to a CBR1000RR and definitely preferred the 1000. Great balance of power and usability.

It had enough grunt to get around town without wringing its neck. I think it actually weighed ~10lbs less than the 600 and felt just about as nimble with 2CTs. Would highly recommend making the jump to a bigger motor.

Well I talked with my buddy for the better part of 4 hours and since he’s tired of seeing it sit in his garage the winner of my bike upgrade is a cherry red/black 2004 Hayabusa, I’m paying him $6K for it. She needs tires and better rear signals, never dropped/dumped/wrecked, and well maintained. Once I get back over to his place ill snag some pics of her for you guys, since its poopy out and he lives a bit away she’s staying put till better weather.

Hell of an upgrade. Be mindful of the throttle and your surroundings and you’ll be fine.

DAS BUSA.

Well that should do it. Only upgrade left is Jay Leno’s jet bike.

Or a 2012 zx14

Knew that was coming

Someone dont know me too well, good luck getting that 2014 ZX14 to keep up

The Busa isnt my first big bike, just the first one in roughly 6 years, not afraid of it, I’m not one to be wreckless, just needed the room it has

you mean reckless. wreckless is too dark and impending doom.

Lol

So you’re contradicting your original post?

Sorry I didnt clarify, active military requires you to take the MSF Beginner Course, then within 1 calender year either the advanced or sport bike course, 6 years ago I gave up on riding and didnt renew my endorsement (Michigan) there you warm and fuzzy now?

But not that it matters, my buddy backed out on selling the Busa to me and I’m not going to be a dick and back out on the buyer of the SV, not his fault the other guy decided to be a dousche, so now I have no bike :frowning:

Whatevs bra

Didnt the ZX14’s have some kind of issue?
