Is their a difference between the Axles/Half Shalfs from an Open Diff to VLSD?
I know one is longer then the other making them driver/passenger side specific but I couldnt remember if the lenghts also changed from Open/LSD etc etc… (I’m assuming they dont)
having installed a VLSD into a 1990 without changing the half-shafts and not having any problems, I would like to say there isn’t a difference, but I’m not certain.
JDM S13 has the 5 bolt output shafts. JDM S14 has the 6 bolt. All USDM vlsd’s have the 6 bolt pattern just as the open diff, so you should have no issues.
