rear clunking

I have this weird clunking noise in the back. I can’t tell exactly what it is, but i think it might be a bushing or a struts on the rear driver’s side?

Anybody have any insight on the prob?

It’s a full stock setup - i don’t know if it’s ever been replaced. The clunk usually happens when i go over major bumps, but sometimes when I go over smaller bumps too.

could be subfame bushings

I had the same problem after I lowered my car. Before lowering no clunk what so ever.

After lowering had a clunking noise only going over bumps(major and minor), did not occur during braking or cornering. I thought it might be my rear strut mounts, cause they were a little worn when I installed the lowering springs and new struts. So I replaced both strut mounts in the rear and it solved the problem.

It could also be your sub-frame bushings too, but usually hear those clunks more during braking or cornering-transfer of weight. hopefully this helps.

check ur sway bar links…i had one go in the front and one go in the rear…i replaced all for and got rid of the clunk

if the link kits gone then ur sway bar is just going up and down on a bolt and thats making the clunk…also corner will not be as good because of it…i notied a huge difference once i changed them all

Thats a great mod in itself too, I replaced both front and back sway bars and bushings, made a noticable difference in driving.
