Is it okay for rear struts and springs to swoosh when they compress. Everytime I hit a bump they swoosh a bit. They come back up pretty quickly and don’t bounce, but they make a swoosh sound.
Mine make the same sound because they are gas filled so on the downstroke you can here them.
So, that’s normal with gas filled, I have kyb agx’s (gas filled) with tein springs. So I have nothing to worry about?
I don’t think you should worry but thats just my opinion.
All of the shocks i have had did that. Dont worry Rob didnt sell you bunk stuff.
they did the sme for me since new.
the don’t bounce or anythign right??
I never had a problem with them at all.
It was louder the softer the shock was set.
yeah, they don’t bounce, I wasn’t accusing of anything, it’s just that I’ve never had gas shocks. Oh and the damper setting is 4/4 on the front (they don’t make a sound) and the rears are on 6/8, so that explains. Was just making sure that it was normal. I was doing some autocross today, they performed well, except it takes a little to get used to the stiffness, I came 2 feet from hitting the guardrail. lol. I beat the porche boxter that was out there though. :supz:
Hey
Not a problem.
I am glad you like them. only about half as stiff as a coilover tho.
