rebuilding coilovers?

anyone know anything about this? if the coilover uses a strut housing and its stock length could i just put some bilstien sport shocks in them?

i was told an offroad shop could do it for me, anyone know of a local offroad shop capable of this?

ARe you talking about cartridge struts?
