Chang’s Garden on Orchard park road has/had good Chinese food but I haven’t been there in awhile. I always ate in house but the Sesame Chicken was fucking awesome, I assume there takeout is just as good.
+1. i had stuff a few months ago from there, it’s still pretty good. They kinda went down hill for awhile there, but rebounded quite well. It’s one of the few places where the chicken actually looks like chicken
edit: if wegmans was too pricey for you then Changs may be as well, and it’s going to be hard to find “decent” chinese food
ginger and garlic on mckinley near clark st in hamburg is where I get takeout from. the mongloian buffet is super good for buffet, mckinely and milestrip
changs or china garden in the village of op. Cant think of any others… is shanghai still open? I didnt care for it much… I was wondering if anybody has ordered from tai pei in the plaza on southwestern and angle?
disagree. their stuffed mushrooms taste like crap. their lo mein is meh. the fried dumplings were crap too. their crab rangoon wasn’t even decent enough lookswise for me to taste. the buffet on south park is the way to go.
oh. and they had a fucking little baby tiny frog/toad living in their waterfall thing, and there were def no real plants for it to eat. which makes me upset. poor little guy!
hahaha. well, there were no bugs for it to eat. and dirty water with dirty money in it. sumtimez i is ril smert.\
… i tried the frog leg too. tasted like chicken, but not. i couldn’t eat it because i knew it was a frog leg. which is why it was even more upsetting when i saw the frog. i bet i ate it’s cousin!
as with any form of buffet, you have to make sure you go when they are really busy to be sure you are getting the freshest possible noms.
That being said, Zhangs Buffet on union near walden is a great buffet when it’s busy.
