Regal's DLP showings

Anyone checked this out yet? I’m not a fan of their IMAX screen at all, but I noticed when looking up show times that they had separate listing for their new DLP projector.

From their site:

DLP™ shows are projected digitally rather than using conventional film. DLP™ technology is a revolutionary display solution that uses an optical semiconductor to manipulate light digitally. The result is maximum fidelity: a picture with impressive clarity, brilliance and color and a lack of scratches, fading and flutter.

I miss my tv

I’d imagine it would look amazing provided it has the proper resolution for which the technology is available. Potential quality should be outstanding.

I saw the third Pirates movie with on the DLP projector. I didn’t notice that much of a difference if any.

Saw transformers in DLP, its cleaner, crisper.

first dlp movie i ever saw was in NYC, and it was the first harry potter movie (yes, that long ago), and i immediately noticed how much crisper and cleaner the picture was

i love that regal finally acquired one, and i thought transformers in the DLP was MUCH better looking than in the non dlp theater i saw it in later…

Meh, I still like the $5.50 movies at the East Aurora theatre even though the picture quality is not good.

Regal is rape on the pocket.

$5.50 vs $9?? $3.50 is that much strain?

3.50 x 2 = 7 x 25 times a year = 175 a year x 10 years = 1750 x potential investing at a small 8% a year over 20 years = 4500 if the interest isn’t compounded daily and you get no interest on your interest… so will u give me $5000-$6000 in 20 years? If so i’ll take it

if you’ll provide some sort of service that would equate into being worth 5-6K, maybe?
