Registration open for April, May and June Track Days!

wondering… roughly how many spots are left for the may 27th event?

i’ve never been up to 120KM/H with 2nd gear, pretty much the whole course will be on 2nd then. I’ve never been over 40km/h with 1st.

how about 1 driver 2 cars, allowed?

Well I only touched 3rd a couple of times out there and it was purely to see if I could get a tiny bit more speed. In the end staying in second was fastest. Unfortunately at the top of second I only hit about 85, while some others out there were hitting over 110. Hopefully the LSD and turbo will help solve that problem. :E

We prefer one driver one car for simplicity’s sake. But if you want to bring two cars, you can take half the runs with one and half with the other. Shouldnt be too much of a problem. Make sure you register both cars and whoever drives the other car to the base for you.

If there were two cars, one driver, I would be charging twice, because that vehicle is taking up space for another participant. Unless you part one, and then when your turn comes up, you decide which car you would like to drive, drive it, then park it, and then do the same when your group is up again.

ok i’m gonna register, i need a helmet and a metal battery tie right?
i need to register spectators, they can’t hang out in the driver’s area?

Yes you need a helmet that is Snell 95, 2000 or 2005 and a battery tie down.

The spectators need to be registered but there is no ‘drivers area’ We just park to the side of the course and everyone hangs out there. They can even ride along with you if you want, as long as they have helmets.

where’s a good place for a simple cheap approved helmet in the city?

We got ours from the group buy from Sherwood Motorcycle. Great little shop.

If thats too far out of your way, go to Alberta Cycle. HJC helmets are inexpensive and approved.

thanks, i’ll check it out.
my car comes with a battery hold down plate and bolt, is that enough?

Does this look ok?

Is it actually secured by the plate? If you grab the battery and it stays in place, you’ll be fine. Otherwise you’ll have to find something more secure.

Like Twine, or a Bungie Cord…

I’m Joking i think they might ask you to leave if you show up with a bungie cord as your tie down… Those are pertty good for keeping them down… but they always rust… hope yours is in better shape…

yes, that keeps the battery in place. I should be ok, that is as good as any that canadian tire sells.

ok, for my friends to come watch, I just need to include their name right?

I’ll just paypaled, and now you guys will definately have competition for last place

I will send you update of the proper spelling of my friends name.

I’ll see all of you guys out there on the 27th. Just registered and payed.
