Also, LOL at me following crowds. Enlighten me on what crowds I’ve followed. And if you want to take shots, I’ve noticed you’ve followed plenty. But I could be wrong.
And we did have several breeds in mind. Narrowed it down to Pomeranian. I don’t see how wanting one breed is a bad thing. You want a Chevrolet, you buy a Chevrolet. You want a Honda you buy a Honda. You like what you like. Ultimately we wanted a small dog because we have 2 other small dogs. Small dog would be easiest on us. Yes, easy. It is an animal. A pet. A friend or companion. Something that wouldnt destroy anything and be easy to control. But it is an animal. Ultimately it can be given away or sold if it ever does unwarranted harm to my son or his things, hurts a human, especially or child. You may feel different but hey, thats for you. The dog was house broken and trained. Maybe not the best training, but it knew what to do. Introducing a baby has really threatened him it seems. I will choose child over dog.
My sincerest apologies for the “snarky” comment and for not practicing due diligence and finding a rescue or adopting a dog. Kudos to you and other who have rescued. It is commendable.
I bought my Corgi from an AKC breeder out in Iowa. Would do again.
Would I adopt a rescue? Sure.
Do I want a pitbull or any of the common rescue dogs…no, but I know they are good dogs.
We just put in an application for a second dog, it’s a Rottweiler-Golden mix, he’s a rescue from Minnesota.
Point is, people sometimes want a specific breed and breeders that specialize in those breeds are 99% of the time they way to go.
Paul’s dogs are great, it just so happens that one is causing issues that directly affect his son. When given the choice I’m pretty sure we all would pick our children over a pet.
He’s doing the right thing by allowing the puppy to be taken by a responsible dog owner, it’s not like he’s putting it in a box at the curb.
But what started it? Gennaro giving him shit about not adopting, quite condescendingly I might add, which brought out the hipster comment.
Bottom line be proud of your rescue but don’t be a dick to other people just because it’s not for them. And if you are a dick don’t be surprised when people are dicks right back to you.
I didn’t even think of a belly band! Lots of my little dog friends use them, for dogs that seem to “forget” that they’re house trained as well as older dogs with incompetence issues. You can even find fun prints to match your home decor / child’s outfits / sports teams. EVERYBODY WINS!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cuddle the shit out of my hipster dogs that don’t pee all over my house.
You are right. Hmmmm…I don’t think arson is the proper thing to do though lol
Haha I have taken extreme measures to clean everything with proper cleaners as soon as a spot is found . Most times its just small piddle spots on the floor near stuff in easily visible areas and easily cleaned.
Its not our forever home but we needed the issue resolved before our next home whether we decide to build or buy.
Ha, I kid, I kid. This is the internet after all, right?
I’m going to take my rescue pitbull, some pbr’s… scratch that… local micro brews, and go down to the beach and do some acid and play some acoustic guitar. Who wants to join me?
