Remnants of war....

This is sad. Being 25 years of age, and the rest of your natural life is fucked! the Government shits on you whenever they can. When they are exposed…they claims there a issues in the system. Better fucking fix the system.

For those thinking that Bushes request for another 40Billion for the was is a reasonable request…take this into consideration.

“A recent Harvard study found that the cost of caring for those wounded over the course of their lifetime could ultimately cost more than $660 billion.”

I cant get over the fact how much money is going to support other countries and ours is ultimately falling apart.

Full Story:

but no lets spin this…

all this money is going to the doctor and all the other people that have to take care of the veterans…

this war really is good for our country…really.

I think?

ok probably not.

no definitely not.

Do you have any idea how long it took me to figure out that remenence = remnants?

Yeah it’s fucked up. Sure economies tend to thrive during times of war, but at what cost? I’d like to go forward in time a few hundred years to see how history remembers this crap. A huge mistake? An ultimate benefit to world security? The beginning of the end of the US empire? We sure did give anyone over there who wants to a great way to bleed us indefinitely…

This country has been doing this for a long time… backup to Vietnam
Political interests and MONEY always far out weigh care and support for the population.

What I find especially sickening is how it took the fucking military 2 years to put any type of mine/ied protected vehicle into service. What were these fucking monkeys doing all this time? Did you need a satellite to give you the common sense to realize that like 80% of our casualties are due to IEDs because the vehicles react like they were made of fucking aluminum foil?

THAT is where the major failure of this war is. Political bums sitting here and squabbling over who is right and who wins a argument while hundreds of kids are send to die every fucking day.

Thats disgusting.

BUFFALO aka Bonecrusher :loopie:

That’s some cool shit.

Pretty sweet sand castles in the background of the Buffalo pic too.

i think i need one of those… no one would ever cut me off again because i would just flip there car with the arm out the front

are those vehicles used to protect troops from IED’s

If the liberals will let me fight a war like i should, then this would of been over a long fuckin time ago. But every time some bad guy shoots from a religious structure, and we level it, CNN and the Times call me a fuckin baby killer and out of control.

Remember this, take this to heart, and think of it when it happens. Some day, some how, this pussy footing around the world will come to bite us in the ass. And no ammount of BS poilitics, will keep this country from becomming what you now see on the streets of Iraq. Sure, hard to believe, but do you think that Europe saw the huge issues with muslims when they were busy hugging and kissing them 20 years ago, fuck no they didn’t.

This war is costing every man woman and child thousands of dollars. And although you might think its a waste, when we as a country can have 20 year olds buying cars, and 25 year olds buying houses, were not doing to fucking bad. Shit at 28 i have 40k in the bank, an airplane in a hanger, newer truck, and a race car sitting in an enclosed trailer. Find me a country that you can have all that at 28 as a middle class citizen. Wars are expensive, so is all the fuckin bullshit medicaid, bullshit welfare, bullshit wic, bullshit… we pay for bullshit every day for the bottom feeders of this country. I for one am dam proud to spend a few bucks on some bombs, at least we get to use them for the purpose for which they were made, to fuck up those that wana fuck with us.

Rant over, back to dancing with the stars.

how about the 400% higher suicide rate of vets, when they only make up about 1/5 of the population?

Discuss…

Yeah, the Buffalo and Cougar (aka gerbil) Are pretty bad ass. There are a couple other MRAP’s that we have too, but 90% of the time we are rolling HMMV’s. I usually drive one. I’ve had more than one destroyed on my watch, and they actually do a pretty good job. Except for my one EFP encounter… Sent a couple buddies home from that one, and I got a free MEDEVAC trip to Baghdad…

Yeah, bring me home please… Fuck Iraq.

98 Red Ex, I can understand your frustration, but you enlisted DURING WARTIME, what did you expect, Hey I am over in Afghan, for my 3rd tour none the less, but its what i signed to do. I guess you thought war was like nintendo where you can just hit the reset button.

Huh? All I was trying to say was I want to come home alive. I don’t give a fuck about this. I am happily doing my job very well here. I have internet access pretty often now, I have clean clothes, and even hot water in the showers a couple times a week. This isn’t nearly as bad as it could be, or as it was.

I joined the Army during war, knowing I would go. Not because I wanted to go, but knowing it would be a direct result of joining. It is a job. It is something to do. I have never said shit about thinking it was a game or that I could just bail whenever I wanted. I am about to get a promotion via waiver, I have received ARCOMM’s for my work. I bust my ass here, and do the best I can I would never consider not completing my commitment. War sucks, yes. People die. People get hurt. That is reality.

add one cup greed, one cup political agenda, add one cup personal favors = piss poor foreign policy with no long term vision.

add a teaspoon of aids and everyone is fucked
