Yes. But if it’s newer u will need to buy a bypass if your key has antithieft chip in your key. This is perfect as is for a winter beater older car.

It doesn’t have to be auto, if you install it on a manual just make sure to leave the vehicle in neutral and you’ll have to bypass the clutch safety switch.

Its asinine to even consider doing that no matter how much you “swear you always leave it in nuetral” your car can, and will drive away…and no shop would ever install it for you.
