I’m looking to rent a house in the Tonawanda/Niagara region but not finding much. I’ve checked all the normal apartment finding sites, most suck. My best luck has been with craigslist so far. Does anyone know another way to find houses for rent? Also, I’m trying to trade services for discount in rent, anyone ever had any luck doing such? Thanks in advance for any info.

if you have a job, and if you have even somewhat decent credit, and if you plan on staying here, then buy a house.
In many cases a mortgage is much cheaper than renting a house.
