well worth the wait and some of the girls that work there… pulled a number outa there that night, hows that for a review!
is the sushi comparable to papaya or ichiban?
couldnt help ya on that. not a huge sushi fan, but the grille food was amazing! i did have a few wraps as an appetizer though. salmon, tuna, and a veggie one and they were all delicous.
But have you tried the number yet??? Bet its not hers, or his :walter:
buuuuuuuuump for me being there again tonight. Got extremely tipsy off sake bombs and shots of sake. The food there is sooooo good. Plan to go for my birthday again on friday the 13th.
I’ve got a half hour video my mom shot of them cooking our food, let me know if anyone wants to see it, id rather not spoil it for anyone.
Its great sushi, haven’t been to papaya in a long time but I would say its better from what i remember
I feel as if Fuji grill has the best around the area. I think I eat sushi way way too much though.
fuji > wasabi (on hopkins) > wasabi (on elm) > wegmans > kyoto > … … > papaya
I think I just had a bad time at papaya, but I don’t intend on giving it another chance
I still like O better than fuji.
O > Fuji(both) > Sake cafe > Seabar(both) > Wasabi Northtowns > Sakura > Wasabi elmwood
I never have great food o wasabi elmwood.
Never had sushi at kyoto, I dont really consider Papaya a sushi plac
lol I have yet to try O’s sushi. they have a wednesday deal or a lunch special?
I have never been there for lunch, I think they just started doing lunch, Don’t know if they have a lunch special like all the other places.
If you go there try the reverse-o- and the gotta get it.
noted. If they do take out I’ll have it for lunch today.
THANKS
Do they have a road kill special?
I guess this is suppose to be a subtle joke reffering to the deer found at China King, and since China King owns Fuji Grill they have “a road kill special” How creative. :meh:
Anyone been to the new Kuni’s? I heard they opened up a larger place somewhere…When I was living in Buffalo Kuni’s on Elmwood had the best sushi (until they closed)… and the owner was actually JAPANESE, imagine that!
the original Kuni’s used to be the only sushi in Buffalo LOL.
Not totally true Osaka on Main Street before it closed was one of the OG sushi spots in Buffalo.
dear jam,
do they have spicy crunchy crab rolls? do they have giant cans of sapporo? do you want to go there with me sometime soon? while you were there did your girlfriend say anything about wanting to make out with me? i look forward to your swift response.
regards,
dan
