I’m in Australia right now and the cars here are sick!!! Silvias, Skylines, Sprinters, Lancers and tonnes of 240’s (200’s here), Supras, and RX7s. If I left any out they’re here too. I can pick up alot of these cars at a pretty cheap price (one of my mates own a shop in Sydney) and was wondering if there is a market for any of them back home. Toss some prices around and let me know what you think a Sprinter (old school Corolla), or anything else your into, could sell for back in Ontario. I’ve looked around a bit and was thinking about exporting a Sprinter back home for myself. Let me know if your interested and I’ll see what I can do for you.

awesome idea, but the costs of shipping them back and paying customs and all would be pure rapage in terms of money. if you want a general idea about cost, you can check jdm-imports.com (i think)
I’ve been talking to an Import/Export company here in Australia and I’ll have prices in the near future. I just need a general idea of people’s interest in actual imports. The AUD is very similar to the CAD. Our dollar is worth just a tad bit more. I was in Austrailia last year, in Melbourne. They have some really interesting cars down there. The Aussies really love their V8’s down there. My cousin took me on me to a couple used car dealerships and a few tuning shops. I actually visited a shop that imported North American Mustangs. They would actually perform RHD conversion on these cars to make them more suited for Austrailian roads. In general, the Austrailians do have strict emmissions laws, and can deem certain cars unsafe for the road. A car can be considered unsafe if has some minor body rust. They do bi-yearly checks to see if the car is road worthy. Oh yeah, BOVs and performance exhaust systems are considered to emit pollution, so emmsion officers aren’t to fond of those items installed on street driven cars.
