Ride for Roswell 2011

FUCK YEAH!!! FUCK THAT CANCER SHIT!!!

Did a total of 105.52 miles in a cunt hair over 5 hours. Really wanted to be sub 5 hours but it is what it is. We were fucking motoring and arrived at the rest stop at Lake Ontario at exactly 9:30am-the staff working there was a bit suprised to say the least. Averaged 20.5mph over the whole ride which included some putsing around in UB.

Joe-I really want to see some pics-I just boogied out after the ride as I had to help with a birthday party.

As I was riding back to my car I stopped and asked an officer where the lot I parked in was located. He was talking to some HOT ass sluts in an SUV trying to beg their way into parking in the VIP lot for some UB function. So me being the helpful guy I am said “Whip out a boob and he’ll let you park there.” Instantly she replies with “Ok, sure.” unfortunately, no milk bags made an appearance and I think they called me a creep.

Hit the headwind at about the 55mi mark at about 2.5 hours in. Doing okay until I left the Lake Ontario shore break area and my knees let me down. Went from a ~19mph pace to finishing with the chase vehicle behind me 5min before they closed the course at 3pm. My goal was sub 6 hours, ended up doing it in 8 :picard: Had plenty of legs under me, just couldn’t keep the knees zipped together. It was a good cause, and if I helped one person improve the quality of their life for a day with what money I raised, it was worth it.

And Richard, you’s a kreep.

The headwind def sucked on the way back from Akron (44). I do love that hill leaving Akron park though. My bike computer crapped out on the way out so I have no idea of my max speed. The ass and camel toe showed up in full force today, unfortunately I saw more mooseknuckle than I care to speak of.

All in all it was a great time for a great cause.

We should start a nyspeed RFR team for future rides.

Congrats! FUCK CANCER!!!

God damn Krant, that is hauling. And here I thought finishing the 33 in just under 2 hrs was a good clip for me. I had a prime talent watching spot from the Extra Mile Club area since I ended up finishing over an hour ahead of the rest of my team, passed about 500 leisurely riders in the first 5 miles and ended up catching a group from work and riding with them.

Thanks guys… Thanks for riding too!
As for pics, I’ll play around with the video tomorrow. My GoPro got about 50-60% of the ride and then the battery crapped out. But I want to make a 3 minute high speed video of the ride. I only saw one other GoPro on a friend of a friends helmet doing the peleton.
