^ I was in the same situation dude, uppers and lowers are gone. Palmetto State Armory is basically wiped of anything.
I’m not quite sure what to do beyond purchasing a decent prebuilt from RRA or another reputable brand for around 1-1.3k
Idk, if I’m going to spend that much money on a rifle, I’d rather build it to my own liking. This time of the year though it seems most receivers are sold out. If you can wait until spring it may be better? I’d let Mike chime on on that one though. My thought is that with all the hype about “prepping” and the world ending + winter building, most parts are going to be sold out or prices raised.
I’m just worried this trend won’t get any better, but i’m not basing this though on much more than rumor. I’m completely open to building my own and knowing what’s in the gun, but not if I need to wait another 6+ months on certain pieces…
I doubt it’ll get any better. You have general increase in sales to contend with along with NYS compliance to deal with. There’s just less stock in NYS because it’s not just a basic standard mil-spec AR.
Prices ahve been on a steady raise. The only thing keeping them down a little is the Junk guns selling too.

BGC had a fairly stripped down Colt brand new for like 1395.00. I was just window shopping on lunch. Definitely felt like a greeeeat gun.
great rifle i actually own one myself, it is built off the same platform as the m14 (M1A civilian version) uses the same type of action hence the name mini 14. some are picky on ammo some aren’t mine isn’t. this rifle wont be a tack driver by any means but it is a fun little gun. i think the front sight blows on it personally. if your looking to put a scope on it you have to get the rancher model.
I have 3 stripped lowers sitting in front of me 
and i would say you deff cant beat the price of a upper from PSA without the BCG or CH. So $350ish for the upper another $200 for the BCG and CH. Then put a lower together for around 2-250. done deal. Best plinker there is. Or luck into a BCG for $100 like i did. the deals are out there just need to look and be patient.

Well any upper if you decide to build can be shipped right to you. Any lower parts can be shipped right to you also. Just the Lower itself needs to be shipped to a FFl IF you buy from a business online. IF you buy through a individual in NYS you can just buy it F2F and not worry about other fee’s or back round checks. I have a few lowers sitting around

I stocked myself on lowers in the spring. Now I just need to pick away at parts to complete them.
Same i have 3 lowers sitting here. Building a 9mm as we speak since i finished the Light weight last week.
