http://www.apcustomusa.com/ar15.html I have the mid length.

ammoman seems to be about 15-20% higher then shopping around. Lately I like to pay around .20 for dirty 7.62x39 ammo, .32 for clean .223 ammo, .20 for clean 9mm ammo all delivered 1k bulk prices. Ammoman is .25 on the 7.62, .27 on the 9mm, and .40 on the .223 delivered using same rounds.

Blaster looked interesting, until they wanted $30 in S&H for just 1k 9mm.

There are still a lot of lowers for sale, just none of the known name stuff, but still good stuff with decent reviews.

For sure, iv had and build prob 10 different lowers for people what all but one went great. I had a guy give me a RGuns lower to build and every whole was way to tight. Iv build mega, stag, Allstar, Delaware, DSA all with great success. Those ammo links were the main two I shop. Sometimes they are better priced. Sometimes not.

Seems like the AP custom handguard is the way to go. i never seen anyone talk about them till after i bought mine ha

This is hot. Besides the AP custom hand guard, what are the specs on this?

Brings do it yourself to an entire new level.

The last CF hand gaurd I seen was $400 range so I stopped looking after that. Those are greatly priced.

Who’s got a link to uppers and lowers that are in stock?

Maxwell, Just about any upper can be had in stock. The lower is the hard part  And the CF hand guards i bet you were looking at the JP’s they get crazy. So far i love the feel of the rifle i will be switching out the Ace stock for there ultralight to save almost another 1/2 pound

Ah, the days of $50 lowers from pal :frowning:

Understood and agreed. I feel the same way.

So, been doing some research and whatnot lately. I’m buying a prebuilt.

impactguns.com has 2 models I am torn on. The colt LE6920, which has glowing reviews for around 1200. They also have a bushmaster will a bunch of MOE bits, hard case, chrome lined barrel, etc for 1050. The bushmaster seems like it will meet any and all of my needs for much time to come.

Also, my FFL guy is willing to make the gun NYS compliant. All I need to do is have him fax his paperwork and a letter stating he will make it NYS compliant, and I should be good to go!

I just built this beauty…

^^That’s what I’m talkin about.

dats noice!

As I get into the sport more, i’m sure i’ll build my own. I’m going pre-built here because cost is currently neglible (sp) and I want matching upper and lower components. The Bushmaster seems like a good deal, but if they run out before I buy it next week, the colt will also be a good fit.

The trigger setup on that is simply a thing of beauty. It breaks so clean and crisp. It’ll be a tack driver for sure. I’m excited to see a 100 yard 5 shot grouping.
