So I’m considering doing this, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Over on ZipTied some of the members say its a horrible choice and does more harm than good, while others say its all in the rivets and if you use the right rivets it will be just as good as stitch welding.
Any feedback?
Why not just stitch weld it, rivets can loosen off, water will get in them and it will rust on the inside. They arent as stiff as a weld either. They also look silly in your engine bay.
plus a zap with the mig is easier than drilling and riviting. You will also have to pay a dec amount for a rivit gun as most of them suck ass and bust after a hundred.

Like 150ish when they are on sale
just ask for the sale price and they will give it to you. But fork out the extra dough and get the 180E. I think $500 sale price and well worth the price.
