today’s radio show was pretty sad…
it’s incredible that many torontonians are standing by this guy… i dont know enough about his politics and effectiveness but i cant imagine anything could out do the negatives from his various exploits.
they were interviewing people around the GTA today on the news with some saying they would still vote for the guy… he insists he’s going to run again and win… crazy.
Simply put, the guy is a liar at the minimum, would you want a liar running your organization? your business? your city?
The way he handles the press just shows he has an entitlement issue, he thinks it’s ok for him to bash/slander people, while he’s clearly against receiving any criticism, do you want a selfish arrogant prick as mayor?
His crack/alcohol addiction or whatever else he has, only shows he is weak, he can’t control himself, or his feelings, yet he’s supposed to manage the diverse interests of his council rationally? How does anyone expect this guy to be an effective mayor when half of what he does is throw tantrums like a 5yr old (on crack)?
He’s cleaning up toronto, one rock at a time?
I’ve heard some say that if you look just at the results of his public policy he’s actually been a great major?

and… he admits it.

It’s not policy, it’s personality. Is someone is “likeable” it goes a long way in politics. There are many examples of this in US politics.
