I guess with winter coming now I dont really need it, but nonetheless I was wondering what places would stock roll cage padding? I know Mopac had a big bin, but thats now gone…
Any ideas?

toys r us … pool noodles
I thought of that. Called Walmart and Crappy Tire, but nothing. Probably not until spring?
And theyd need to be hollow, theyre not are they?
go over to any jb power centre and tell them you need either of these numbers
72110 - black
72111 - blue
72112 - red
they come in 3 feet rolls and they retail for 4.99 each. if they ask tell them the brand is engine works. they will need to pull the pieces from the warehouse.
good call …
pool noodles are hollow, try calling a pool/hottub store…
Mopac has them.
I had pool noodles on the cage in my car, works well but looks tacky. Well tacky considering they were bright yellow.
Pool Noodl’z woulden’t really be all that safe would they?..
I mean, that foam, compared to the “real” roll cage foam,
any difference?.. :?

lol, well if you’re putting a roll cage in your car for safety (and chassis stiffening, i know) and then you cheap out and buy pool noodles…
That stuff at Mopac is crap.
If your just looking for something to give you a little padding so your don’t bean your self when your not wearing a helmet. Crappy tire and home depot will have stuff that will work. I don’t remember what the actual propper use for the stuff is but I know they have it. The down side is that its not resistant to heat/fire like the actual approved race padding. Its cheap though they sell it in large sections.
Whats wronge with some pillows and duct tape?
I just went to Home Depot, bought some insulation. Kinda thin, but it wasnt even 12 bucks for 30 feet of it and it fits nice, so its good enough for me.
As long as your car doesn’t light on fire with you in it. It should do the job.
Should have told me about the insulation. I use that stuff everyday and could have got you some for free.
pool noodles will suffice if you plan on driving into a lake anytime soon.
just hope if you crash you’re wearing a helmet… :o

i could use some if u still have any…lol
Yep, dont be relliing on that foam to do shit in an accident. Crushing your scull open may be funner than you think.
