anyone ever deal with S&W before? anyone want to weld it in for me…I just cant afford a 1000 dollar cage this year

why not just ask domination.
we deal with them at Wyotech. Never heard any complaints.

S&W is 249+shipping and pre fabbed. I would love to have domination weld it in but I dunno if jay would be game for that
has to be mig so the welds are bigenough
if I had a decent MIG Id weld it in but I dont think my pile of shit craftsman welder is up to the job haha
I have an s&w cage in my car, my friend and i put in, in like 2 hours or so, turned out pretty good, hit up jeff or 1st try…my freind would do it also, he is about a 7 out of a 10 at welding though…

welding in isnt’ an issue… just takes time to line it up, cut / weld.
i think domination will make it all…
I dunno this is a 10 pt so it has all the piping through the dash. that is the problem I was thinking that the S&W would be cheaper since all the fab and bending is done it is pretty much set in and weld
Sammy its a rough fab … you do need to have it angle cut and notched to weld properly. So it will cost 1000+ still
I looked into it already … and have talked to some people and I am going to get the kit and have them install it 100% so I dont run into any crap at the track.

so steve you are buying a S&W or other NHRA kit and having domination install it? if so that was my plan too but didn’t know if Jay at domination would be down for that

sam… you should know better than that… put it this way… my hoop and sialors weren’t even close and we have the same ‘kit’.
20/20, id’ go to jay at domination and gladly pay for his services… he even has the materials… when i fucked up my lower brace i went and he recut me one… identical material.
i have put a few s&W cages in, have been very happy with the results. Why does it have to be MIG for welds to be big enough? only has to have good penetration. With TIG the welds can and usually tiny in comparison to MIG.

that is probably what I will end up doing. Just don’t know if it will happen this year cause money is tight
you better wait and make sure ur car can break into the 11’s
