Lol, yea that would do it. When it warms up the rubber seal becomes less brittle and seals it properly most likely.
What BOV is it? If it’s adjustable, try tightening the screw until it closes completely (when it’s cold). Make sure you don’t adjust it too much though, or else it won’t open when you let off the throttle. If you have to adjust it that much though, I would recommend just getting a new one.
If it’s not adjustable, scrap it and buy a new one.
its a HKS replica lol i have a genuine HKS at my uncles shop i was planing to install, looks like i better get on that, i dont know if the replica is adjustable.
