RT615's...Kind of Dissapointed

Went out for a quick drive with the new Azenis, they feel a bit sloppy, as if the steering response is not as sharp as the RE070’s were. I won’t know for sure until I get to an auto-x.

Maybe the sidewall is softer than the Bridgestones or it could just be that the tires are brand new? The Bridgestones performed better as they wore down, hopefully the Falkens will do the same.

all tires perform better as they wear down, as the tread depth allows for more flex in the tire itsself

I personally liked them better than the 215s, even though i think they suck more in wet condition., but this is driving my room mates car

I agree the sidewalls do feel softer than my Yok A046’s but at half the price… They are great soo far.

Damn, didn’t you just get your evolution? The stock tires burnt up already?

I maybe got about 12k out of them at most… and thats NO autocross or anything… just daily driving. :rolljerk: the a046’s Great tires imho, but for $255 ea. they are crazy.

$255 each? Jesus, even the Neova’s are cheaper than that.

Took the car for another rip last night on the way out, the steering response is a tad softer than the RE070’s, but on long higher G corners they grip a tad short of phenomenal. I couldn’t push close to hard enough for them to let out a squeel let alone let go at all, I’ll have to figure out where the limit is in 2 weeks at ECCN. I’m much more pleased now.

RE070’s have some of the stiffest sidewalls known to man. This is probably why you percive less steering feel.

When you get objective times on the course you wont be dissapointed these are supposed to be THE street tire to have for autox.

They are first in line to go on my car as soon as my ST-115’s wear out.
