hey was that car in the erin mills town center area?
if it is i saw the chick rear end a truck or bus or something big…
That was like a year and a half… maybe 2 ago…
Nice to see it not under a bus bumper!
Sounds 110% like her! At the time you saw it did it have big ugly offset black wheels with a chrome lip?
Yes… yes it did…
Oh man, i was taking the bus home from school and i see this dumb twat rear end a bus!
As soon as i got closer and saw those taillights, man, i started crying.
My buddies were like, wtf man, i was like… WHY… WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE A CONVERTIBLE… WHY COULDN’T SHE FUCK UP A CIVIC… DAMNIT BITCH…
very sad day for me…
But its so nice to see it not fucked up. I mean it was literraly under the back of the bus… or truck… whatever it was something big.
Man i gotta see that thing in person.
Love convertables… Have you considered doing a custom roll cage for stability cause i know those things have some body roll…
And i assumed you cut the fuck outta those uprights for the seatbelts. Damn those things are ugly.
Nice though
Im stopping on the front bumper for now since its my secondary bumper and taking up all my time vs the much more needed to do things.
Ive never done this or been taught so i used some tape, bondo/glass and a knife then your basic long and short sanding blocks to replicate the S14 body line.
The bumper and under garnish also needed to be widened a cm to mate up to the body of the 1/4 panel flush.
seriously bro… where are you located!
I love verts… always have always will, and i’m a huge fan of this build. Gotta check that out.
i have plans to build a s13.5 vert so this build is a must see for me.
i am in awe of this entire build. i wish i had half of your skill!
car is going to be so rude when it’s done! hell i’d rock it even in it’s current state.
only thing i don’t like is big fiberglass audio installs…especially with Gray Goose bottles LOL but hey if that’s your steez, than rock it with pride my friend!
i’m going to be in the queue if this thing ever goes up for sale in the future.
^^^im scrapping the fiberglass box project and going with a big mdf box for sound quality.
Maveric your more than welcome to check it out in the early fall when i have it on the road again for a short while
Im nearing completion of the bodywork, really taking my time on making sure everything’s strait before primer
its… so beautiful!
And yeah i’ve done audio installs and MDF cannot be challenged for sound quality. Make sure to use polyfill if its ported.
Back from the dead, car is getting cleaner and cleaner. You worried me by the thread title though.
^^This guyy…makes everything easy
looking good !
Looking so b-b-b-b-baus.
Great job on this car!
Ive been so busy with minor details for the engine including dual push fans, fan controller, grex oil filter relocation, wiring misc gauges and romote start/turbo timer. I’m hoping to get some one with camera skills to get a few shots soon
holy 4x4 status , still looks so fresh tho.
edit:
were did you get that strut bar? i wants!
not 4x4 at all. just big ass rims
Some guy on Nico was making these STB’s and i got it threw a member on here 2nd hand, it works well for odd engine swaps.
as far as 4x4 status its not going to get any lower unless i cut the inner wheel wells in the front, if i get some front tension rods to pull the wheels forward i may be able to drop the front another inch at most but i sort of like minimal rubbing and next to no scraping
Tub and scrape Devin.
Tub and scrape.
<3
im with Martino on that one x2 for tub and scrape
