Winter projects!
Wow that cluster looks unreal Dev!
dope dev!
Looks awesome Devin!
Saw your red hatch in Whitby probably 2 weeks or so ago in the complex off of Thickson.
Hey nice cluster who’dya get it from?
^^^Santa clause came early ill trade it for a soarer if your interested
Tonight i got some new glowshift gauges, worked great and really easy to install with the defi like link connectors so you only have to hard wire one gauge and the others feed from that one gauge.
I really like the boost sensor vs running a vac line into the car. Cool features too like peak recall, warning lights and or loud beeping if the gauge reads too high or to low. Just not sure if im keeping the visors on the gauges, how ever they do prevent glare off the windshield at night.
Gucci colours!
^Holiday hour lol.
Looks good Devin.
Wont be seeing it anymore apparently…

ok ok i get it i get it nice stab nick ! lol
devo shits looks awesome! how much room is there tho? cause the s14 door panels stick in more
As of now the s14 dash bolts right in with all the air heat/cooling tubes removed behind the dash and one bracket on the DS that needs to be cut out.
The door panels are a bitch, they are too big and hang too low not allowing the door to close . I had to cut 1" of the bottom of the panel off. The panel does not sit up against the door very well exposing 1/4" gap in some spots, none of the clips fasten into the door so theres nothing to hold the panel on. I haven’t even tried to play with the door handle and window switch/lock wiring until i find some time to make the door panels fit perfectly.
Right now i think the S14 doors allow more room for the bigger panel because my dash is getting squished by the panels when the doors closed leaving me no option but to cut 1/2" out of the dash or door panel so i don’t have panels rubbing making cheap car creaking noises. Im keeping this one very oem looking with some nice stitching and gauges hiding under the airbag panel.
The interior feels much more bold with the S14 panels! The difference is only an inch at most.
thanks for the information Devo, this has peaked my interest alot subscribed !
Progress finally! damn xmas…
Here’s the home workshop upside down yet not a single misplaced tool ever!
Picked up some electric ceiling heaters vs going natural gas this year, they got the garage pretty warm ill be adding another one downstairs and x2 upstairs
Back to fitting the dash/doorpanels…The S14 dash fits with some minor trimming, but the doors are a pain! The door panel and dash fit were way too tight so i cut 1/4" out of the side of the dash and re-shaped the foam which will be wrapped with a stitched together leather. 1/2 of the lip/edge of the S14 door panel had to be cut off, the panels too big to close the door. After lots of cutting and re-fitting everything’s lining up and working like factory, the door handle and window switches will be next then the glovebox and cluster brazel which has to be made to work with my S13 digital cluster. I forgot i have the HUD to install on the dash too…
Next since none of the clips on the door panel fit the S13 i made some brackets with plastic rivet type clips which are super secure and wont let the door panel budge.
After every things fitted ill be attempting the make the airbag motorized to pop up to display my gauges when the car turns on. I want this all auto maybe with an override switch to hide the gauges if i don’t feel like displaying them at the drive-in.
Down the road most the gucci will be gone, ill leave the pillars and headliner. Im going all black leather with a diamond stitch in red on the seat and panel inserts.
