a s13 front end on what? a s13?
you mean a s13 SILVIA front end on a s13 hatch or coupe.
You need fenders, hood, healights, headlight brackets, grille, bumper, corner lights and turn signals in bumper (unless you have 89-90 because they fit.)
s13 means silvia
a 240sx is not an s13
i know this is being nitpicky and its standard slang that we use but if you’re going to correct him at least do it accurately.
no sir, the S13 refers to the chassis code. sivlia’s, 180sx, 240sx hatchback, and 240sx coupe, all share basically the same chassis. They are all S13’s
I do believe he’s refering to the S13 silvia front end. They bolt right up, and only require a small amout of wiring for the corner lights to operate correctly.
oooo John
Yeah, when you go to the dealer and he looks up your car, it says S13 on his computer.
it also says S13 a couple places on your car and in the owners book.

LOL way to make him feel sad
What a noob.
hahaha pwned.
Actually John is correct.
the ONLY
‘S13’ is the 1988-1990 CA18DET powered SILVIA.
The 180SX w/ CA is RS13
The domestic 240SX is either the HS13 for the coupe or RHS13 for the HB…
And then later (DOHC KA) it became MS13 and RMS13
SO SCREW YOU ALL JOHN WAS RIGHT
(the later SR powered Silvia coupe has a ‘P’ before the S13)
Thanks Max
I’d just like to say “PWNT” to the following:

Like I said - “s13” is common SLANG for our cars, but technically it is not correct. An S13 is a silvia chassis code, not 240sx.
Then again, why does it say S13 on the DEALER’s computer? And also in the owner’s manual? S13 is the complete line, RS13, MS13, etc are for the specific ones, but they are all S13s.
They are all revisions of the original S13
If you bought a headlight for an ‘S13’ you would get the square glass headlight from a 1988-1990 Silvia coupe.
If it’s the silvia/180sx chasis code and the 240sx has the same chasis as the silvia/180sx then how is calling it an “s13” wrong?
Because it’s an HS13 or an MS13
Actually, if you order a headlight for an s13 in North America, they will sell you a 180sx popup headlight.
Call 401 and Dixie Nissan to check if you want.
