I just sortof finished my silvia. I installed my s-afc and my eclipse deck in the glove box, autometer boost, oil, water gauges in the heater vents above the din, push button start in the center councle, autometer ail/fule gauge where the deck goes with 5 switches. ign, acc, fan, water sprayers and fule. I will post pics soon. It turned out really clean.
Holy man…that sounds crazy. I would love to see some pics.
I would like to see that setup. It sounds like some of the setups I’ve seen on Freshalloy
Ok I got some pictures under members rider and its convertible silvia. Enjoy

Kind of an old thread…but anyways
What did you use to mount the gauge panel into the vent hole? I’ve got the stainless steel dual gauge panel (flat metal), and have been toying with the idea of using automotive goop or something to hold it there. Obviously it would need to be held in place for some time seeing as how the dash isn’t perfectly flat, and it would be nice if it was removeable in the future. I’m not sure what’s the best way to go about it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
you can get them in 52mm or 60mm
Yeah I have one of those already, for the two 52mm gauges, I was just wondering how to install it in on the dash. Needs some kind of strong adhesive…
Thanks for the input though.
I just cut mine out of lexan and it sorta just fit perfect. I guess it fit tight cuz I pulled the thick wire from the water temp and made it snug that way but If I took a hard corner It would pop out just a bit. I bet some auto goop will work out okay aslong as you =dont get shit that will melt. Sorry I couldnt really help
Well the piece fits surprisingly well, apart from the fact that the panel is flat, and the dash is slightly curved. I bought some of that black auto goop, but I’m not sure if it’s strong enough, plus I don’t want to wreck my dash trying it out. It’s got about a 2mm rim for the panels to sit on, so not much surface for it to adhere to. Maybe I’ll have to tape it on
Thx for the help.
Im going to get some hard plastic and get sopme plastic adhesive and make 2 brackits behind the panel so that I can have 2 screws on each side to hold her on. Might take a few min’s of thaught but should work good and you will be able to take it out if you need to.
Hmm, a bracket might work, I’ll look into that. Thanks
spring clips on the back of the fixture is how mines in…woot woot
Hawtness. What do these spring clips look like? And what did you use to mount them to metal?
Excuse my ignorance.
