S14 Race Car Build + Tuning Thread

Dam!! I can’t wait to get back to that track next year!

I will come out to see you race man, for sure!

Is there honestly a more picturesque track in North America? I think not.

Theo

What’d be really awesome (we could dream) is if we put forth a petition of sorts to the government to build and fascilitate more race tracks for car enthusiasts so that things could be kept off the street (that could be the political front) and to keep it affordable, fun and safe.

A replica or better/similar track such as that of the nurburing… that’d be a dream come true  AND the government could make a little profit off the project… that’d be something amazing.

I always thought of this in my head and well since its a track thread… thought i’d let it out… I know we have a few tracks, but none as big as the nurburing… the nurburing is one of a kind… just watching racing videos on the nurburing whether by professionals or amatures is fun alone.

I will most likely come out to mosport and shanonville for some fun next year God willing…

Awesome videos though, I love it.

Very true.

Sasha, awesome work this season. Looking forward to seeing what you put together for next season. Its only 6 months away!

Maybe more front camber  Speaking of which, how much did you find you could run with the RA-1’s?

Andrew.

I’ve seen those diffusers they are universally made… i forget there was this one jap site selling them… but it kinda looks like just hanging. They had pix of them on rx7, evo, s13, r32, rsx, s14, s15, accord, s2000, etc… I wonder though if there is anyone who makes underbody panels for our cars or if its somethng we’ll have to make ourselves. I know there are underbody panels sold for scoobies, etc… That alongside good front spoiler and diffuser would help with the airflow for sure… The link you provided is unfortunately broken :frowning:

Edit: I found it

A long time ago I was looking at all this stuff for myself trying to figure out how to increase airflow while reduce as much as possible and decrease drag but increase downforce… I stlil haven’t found any underbody panels being made as there are for scoobies, but i found this underbody diffuser jaapnese company.

awesome thread sasha

just read it front to back. lots to learn from this which was very beneficial.

keep it up!

congrats on the season too!
