As for a transmission swap from 5spd to 6spd is the transition easy?
from an s15 to the s13, it cant be to much of difference in motor.
has this been done before by anyone on this forum and or can it be done easily.

i assume you have an SR in your car already? it will not bolt up to a KA.
i have no hands on experience with the swap, but from what i’ve read you’ll need to figure something out for the speed sensor as the S15 has the VSS in the diff and the S13/S14 has it in the transmission.
i believe all you need to make it work without the speedo is the transmission, shifter, transmission cross member and drive shaft.
if someone has done the swap, feel free to correct me as this is just hearsay and i can’t verify it.
Not worth it. 6spd transmission guys are swapping to 5spds because the 6spds are so fragile.
If you insist on it then be prepared to spend some bucks because not only will you need the driveshaft, full LSD but a way to convert the VSS signal to your cluster. Oh and buy a spare transmission, youll need it.
