Skurge, difference is… You didn’t drive your car with an Inch of snow on the ground. And don’t tell me you did… You worked from home those days or took the Eclipse. Not like we had a lot of days with more than an inch of snow on the roads.
Notice you took this picture after it had snowed and not currently snowing, I’m sure most streets were cleared. Sorry but I know you definitely didn’t. This car wouldn’t make it in an inch of snow with summer tires. Every time any decent snow hit, you worked from home since you could. shit you went a whole week working from home iirc because of how shitty the weather was that week. How do I know? “yep, working from home again… hows getting up this morning and having to drive to work?” lol
Got it inspected during winter so i don’t have to worry about it until at least next year
i removed my air pump which will throw a cel but they have a jumper fix for it so that should be ok
im just leaving my o2 sensors in so it will be easier come inspection time but i believe all i will have to do is just plug the ecu back in , swap injectors to stock and stock map sensor and ready the system and hopefully it will be okay
luckily for these cars you can run AEM EMS , haltech (both just plug and play) and for AP2’s they have flash pro which just flashes the ecu
they also make a kit so you can run a chipped rsx ecu and swap a few sensors and retain CEL readability , and it will pass inspection no problems because codes can be tuned out. if i have any problems i may do this
Make sure you read up on the Jumper and get one that will continue to work. Skurge ended up getting something that illuminated the need of having the pump hooked up and working. Bought a unit that wired in… Not sure where he got it from. Hes never had issues since with that unit.
Ok, so I haven’t done to much searching. My apologies if its easy to find. Where is the fuel filter on this car? From a quick search, I’ve only been seeing it on the actual fuel pickup. Granted I’m trying to do my work at the same time.
