So how often do you guys get alignments lol? I was reading on S2ki that its recommended to get done every year. I thought it was just ppl acting like a bunch of s2000 gays as usual…
But I had my rear aligned last year to to -2.8 rear camber and 0 toe.
Had it just realigned because I was rubbing and when they put it on the rack it was at -3.1 rear and -1/16 toe lol.
Had it realigned to -3.1 and 1/8th toe. Way better to drive now.
I think its time to buy the Firestone lifetime alignment.
I wish there was caster alignment, my stupid wheels are too far back and keep rubbing on the bumper. Time to get out the hammer and rotary cutter lol

once a year is great. I want to look into the Firestone alignment as well since they have that lifetime deal. Does anyone know if they have any stipulations you need to follow? You can only do it an x amount of times a year or every x amount of years? I usually go to Goodyear on Transit due to knowing the guy running the show. Did the car once, took it back for tires, he did it again since it was within a year.

I have owned my car almost 7 years and I have not gotten an alignment. Not saying that what you found on s2ki isnt true, but my tires wear fine. Maybe its because I dont really put miles on my car. About 2000 miles a year

DRIVE THE CAR!!! All this stuff you do and you only put 2k miles on it. Ouch, I feel bad for that thing. I put about 20-25k a year. I love this thing and bought the car to use it, not make it look pretty.
I agree that I should drive it more but I wont take it to certain areas. The mall, home depot etc. I pretty much go back and forth to work when its nice out and fart around on the weekends. Mind you my commute was 1.5 miles, but now 8 miles.
I wont drive it in the snow, and I dont drive it in rain. So living in buffalo, I get about a week worth of driving time =P

I know what you mean about it being your Ferrari, but shit man… trying to baby something that much, you will have a panic attach when you drop something and it scratches it. Might as well enjoy what you have. Don’t like people fucking up your rides, don’t park anywhere near the door. You don’t drive it in the rain or snow, no reason you cant walk a quarter mile from the back of a parking lot. Always areas at the mall and homedepot to park with no worries. Just how far do you want to walk. (as long as you aren’t lazy, it shouldn’t matter) Only time the Mall would be a no is Holiday seasons.
lol, believe me. I enjoy my ride when I drive it. No matter what car I own, when ever I see a scratch I get mad…unless it my winter beater. I do park far away and walk but back when i had my teg I parked it at depot and people suck at putting their carts back. I came out to find a cart up against my car due to a strong gust of wind. Sux but what are you gonna do ya know.

It’s not a quick job by any means, certainly something I’d set aside a weekend for.
When I had the miata I did my top. Went to the glass window. What a pain in the ass to get it on the frame. If I had to do it all over again I would buy the top on the frame and spend the extra money. Then sell the old one. It seamed like there was always someone looking for a miata roof frame. Not sure if the s2k scene is like that.

What’s wrong with the qtr panel
I rolled and pulled my fenders, however its pretty hard to roll the end where it meets the bumper so I hit it a few times to match the rest. Doesn’t rub nearly as bad, if at all now!
