PARIS — Authorities say two 19-year-old students killed in a car crash in central New York attended Syracuse University.
The victims have been identified as Saem Oh of Hauppauge on Long Island and Young Wang of Norwood, N.J.
They were traveling with two other friends when their car crashed Tuesday night in the rural Oneida County town of Paris, 40 miles east of Syracuse. Sheriff’s deputies say the car spun off the road on a curve, hit a tree and flipped over several times.
Oh and Wang were both ejected from the vehicle. The driver and another passenger, also both 19, escaped with non-life-threatening injuries.
Syracuse University said Wednesday that Oh, Wang and the two injured attended the college. No other details were immediately disclosed.
