what clutch are you running again? i had an ACT HDSS when i had my HTA35r and i had nothing but problems with it, then my tranny went :lol:

Well, if all goes well I’m going with a quarter master just like you and Mike. Theres an ACT something in there now, I’m not quite sure exactly which one it is (came with the car when I bought it)… But I have had problems with it locking out

For a clutch, just get the Exedy triple cerametalic and be done with it. It’s the same price as the others, and it’s PROVEN to rock. You’ll never get a lockout, it won’t slip, even with slicks on the car, for launch after launch, it’s totally streetable, you can wide open shift, and it’s light as hell, and cheap.

Finished bolting up the turbo/mani/o2/downpipe. All the ic pipes, intake and the dv are on (I need to order a couple more clamps and a reduced coupler for the licp).

Other than that, I just have to drop the radiator/slim fan into the car and thats about it. Then its off to installing some Kelford 272’s, springs and retainers and a better clutch.

Lol leave all that shit out. You’re gonna have to take most of the stuff that you just put back in out again to do the clutch.

Ya, good point. You should get that polished cover for the manifold that Paul had when he had the cast 35r kit. Makes it look nice!

I think my wastegate may be in a different place than pauls was. I dont know if that cover will fit. Plus for now I just want to make sure everything goes well mechanically first lol

Haha just looked at it, don’t think that cover would fit. What are you aiming for on e85 with this? Like 500+ I would assume right? Also what injectors you going with and did you get some sort of ignition amplifier?

e85 yes, im have rc 1000’s in the car. Nothing for ignition and as for hp Im not sure Im hoping to hit 500 at least, if I dont run out of fuel by then lol. well see though

i had to modify my polished cover for my wastegate to fit since they are made for a stock framed turbo. should’ve picked up my HKS DLI II when it was for sale! its hard to say if you’ll have misfire issues, i never tried my car without the HKS…

IMO i wouldnt even bother with an amplifier, i suggest going straight to COP.

What do u do for spark issues, run coilpacks on plugs, 1g coilpacks? i remember reading stuff on evom, i just didnt go over it throughly because i dont have an evo lol
