But the satin paint jobs are awesome
they were about the fastest thing to get played out in the car mod world. i know they have been done for years but in the last 3 years they have blown up and i am personally sick of everyone doing them now. maybe half of the ones i see now i like.
gloss black paint and a satin clear coat makes this flat black looking paint i love it!
i loved my sportmax’s
i hear ya bro, but i have been planning on one for years because the paint is gonna cost me $70… i haven’t seen an e36 thats satin black around, so i figured “why the fuck not.” after the paint, i’m going to utilize an hx50 lol.
Very few cars can pull it off besides the original Rat Rods.
As far as how it’s made, satin paint and clear coat was how I’ve always heard it done.
I’d be very curious to see this done with a “50$ paint job” method.
If reflective colors can come out well with this method, satin paint should be a breeze.
You can rattle can the Eclipse if you like. :retardclap
can we? ive wanted to do a car like that, but ive never had the chance
I don’t care man. It’s my beater. It can’t look worse than it does now with the peeling clear coat, and it looks like the retard who had it before me already tried to spray the hood once and did an awful job.
It has some rust that needs to be fixed, but right now it’s mostly superficial.
Anything I do to that car can only make it look better. :lol
AWESOME! I call dibs! We can just tape off the windows and handles and stuff and get to it on a nice warm day on a weekend. What color do you want?
No need to tape off the handles.
The car is black, I’m okay with it staying black.
Makes the hideous tan/black color scheme a little less horrifying.
can we stencil anime on it, so its like an itasha car?
You forget that I don’t actually like Japanese cars/culture.
I’m going with a no on that one. :lol
tsk! damn, i tried.
