well dsm’s make rotaries look reliable lol. but 240 are good cars, buy a southern car, nissan doesnt you the best metal. depending on what youd like to do yourself is going to dictate how much you can get out of it for 5k. the stock ka’s are slow, like for a “sports” car at least. stock the handling is soso, but with research you can pick up a decent set of used coil overs. new ones go for between 800-1200 depending on the company. i can tell you, unless you find a super good deal, you probly not gonna get rhd, and jdm goodness. but with some originaltiy, you can make 240’s cool. only base models came with no sun roof, they are kinda hard to find that way. but now that i read that closer, i say buy a clean southern car, buy coilovers, a good clutch, maybe and exhaust and have lots of fun
get a nice clean 95 s14, put some coilovers on it, and rock the stock engine till u can afford a swap or something.
usually buying a pre-swapped 240 means buying headaches if the previous owner thought he could do it.
