A guy at work is looking to buy a 2004 545i. Thoughts? Any big ticket items to look out for?
He is also looking at G35s and Lexus. I prefer the 545 though. Thanks!
Not sure of any issues, but I agree 100% with the BMW over the other 2 options.
why not a 535 then chip it? probably better on gas, just are reliable, and just as fast. then why not a 335 sedan? do you need the extra room, it’s the same size as an E39 5 series.
its a huge price difference.

There is a 2004 545i for sale that a friend might buy for his wife. It is a sport in a nice color with low mileage. The old boy wants 16K for it which I feel is on the cheaper side.
I just need to know if there are any real issues with them. This car will not be driven fast it is for his wife lol.

535s weren’t available till 2008 so it is not cheaper its like $10k more
