School me on Buell Lightning Xb12s

So Since i restored my old mans bike last year and rode that all summer which btw is a 1979 Suzuki 750GS-e I have kinda gotten bored of it. I wont sell it since its been in the family since brand new, but I know i can afford a bike loan and the lightning really has me interested.

It has a few things going for it for me.

  1. I love the streetfighter look
  2. I enjoy that it doesnt sound like the i4s.
  3. I like the overall layout, some of its ingenuity and unique qualities.

cons? I havent seen any in my research so far.

So if anyone has first hand insight about this bike let me know.

Also i have heard that they are slower than a lot of other bikes, even given the large displacement.

Thanks in advance.

He had a 9… he liked it…

ive ridden them, but didnt like it… I’ll write more later

You can buy a much better bike than a Buell.

PS: I started a trend I think lol. Everyone is buying twins this year lol.

If you want something unique, buy buell. If you want a really fast bike, don’t buy a buell. Seriously though, it’s a really fun street bike. Lots of torque and super nimble with the upright seating position. Make sure to equip it with pilot powers or some equally awesome tire to get the most fun out of it.

Fucking awesome

Nice try Chirs. Get a twin with some balls next time

^hahahahahahahaaaa…

also, the boo ell ee’s wheelie nicely… ask jbgti

I will say that was a fun day test riding them… we should do that again

I didnt like the one on the test ride but i blame that on the 5 year old d207 front tire… it was slow compared to an i4 600, but it was still smile invoking… also, justin has one, maybe he’ll add something to this

only one seaters? i like that!

what year is that bike up there?

They are a 2 up bike?!?
