:word: you could have a WRX or Mustang GT for the price of a type S. even the 350Z and RX8 are pretty close in price. its a much better car than the tC but at the cost of $8k more out of your pocket. the tC would be a competitor for the civic, mazda 3, focus, cobalt, neon ect. your comparing apples to oranges. so the question is how much you wanna spend and what are your goals.
A wrx is more expensive than a type s but if I wanted to pay the insurance on a mustang, I would have gotten an 89 5.0 by now. I’m mainly going for a type s because I want a new car that looks good and is a decent performer stock. If I feel like it I’ll mod it in a while but not now.

dude, honestly you will have a lot more fun in the type-s…i have driven both…and the type-s wins, hands down…much better tranny,engine,interior,etc…if it didnt lack the torque id be driving one right now…
