Friend has a legacy GT turbo, his friend has an 04 or 05 STI (old style bug eye) and i guess the friend is upgrading to a bigger turbo system or whatever, so i know the legacy has the 2.5 like the STi, is it the same motor?
basically the friend is gonna give him the old sti mani/turbo etc for free so he wants to just throw it on, but i dunno scoobs at all so yea…just wondering.
well, the 04/05 sti is not a bugeye.

i wanna say 03 or 04? he was just talkin to me about it, i never saw either car so i can’t be too sure either way
all i need to know is if the 2.5 leg motors take the STi mani/turbo’s w/o modification, sans the ECU crap

same motor different intercooler and turbo and there was never a bug eye sti here so if it is that style that is a 2.0 wrx.
yea… i’d be suspect of the bugeye comment… if he has a wrx (only bugeye) its def not the same motor.
